I recall that the Fiat panda have been highly regarded on the PistonHeads forum as a first car mainly due to it having more then average HP, compared to the typical first cars ,which tend to only have around 60-80hp. And due to the fact it's not a typical young person's first car it should be cheaper to insure then less powerful cars.
