Re: Problem with Nikon 24-70mm ED VR. The "less sharp" shot is at 1/500 where VR is unlikely to help with camera shake. When sometimes AF is accurate (first shot) and less sharp (second shot) equipment rarely has an intermittent fault between shots and the problem is usually something else.
